One Response to Longer Is Not Always Better Especially in Government!!!!!

  1. Sarah Bonner says:

Unfortunately, the “precision” of government regulation has nothing to do with government power, and everything to do with our law culture. We’re a nation that will sue for ANYTHING, seek out loopholes, and abuse privileges if they are not strictly forbidden to do so. Because we want to be “fair”, we write legislation that omits room for common sense, while we allow dishonest practices in our mass media, political elections, and political process. If you want to see a change, you will have to change the way we (the citizens) think — teaching our kids to have pride in themselves and a smidgeon of honor in the way they deal with other people — and look to the young lawyers in school.
